On Thursday, 5 February 2026, from 12:30 – 13:30 UK, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP will deliver an online training session for trustees and staff of Impact London Collective grantees on Being a Charity Trustee: What the Role Really Involves

This session is designed to provide a practical, high-level overview of the core legal duties of charity trustees in England and Wales, and to support both trustees and charity staff who work with or support trustees in understanding how those responsibilities apply in the day-to-day governance and operation of a charity.

Please note that while the speakers are not specialist charity lawyers, the training draws on Debevoise’s general legal expertise and experience advising charities through pro bono work. The session is intended for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
